Todd White Exposed-Fake Leg Lengthening Trick!

The following short clip was taken from the new movie The American Gospel: Christ Alone:

When this clip was posted to social media, most of the comments were positive, however, when we look at negative comments from Todd White supporters it is very revealing. Anyone who watches this clip (whether they’re a Christian or not) can see that Todd White is performing a cheap parlor trick-he is not making a leg miraculously grow. There are plenty of videos on YouTube that have exposed this fraudulent leg lengthening trick for years. Everyone can see the trick with their own eyes… except those who refuse to see it.

Here’s a harsh reality: We are, in many cases, dealing with the type of thought control and thinking patterns associated with religious cults. None of the Word of Faith/New Apostolic Reformation supporters will deal with the reality that Todd White is scamming people with his fraudulent leg-lengthening trick. Instead, they attack the critics (like me, Steve Kozar, or this film’s maker, Brandon Kimber) as “religious Pharisees.” Darren Wilson, who made the Holy Ghost films that helped bring Todd White to prominence, must retain his followers by avoiding any honest discussion of the obvious trick that Todd White is perpetrating. Todd White will probably never make mention of the American Gospel film by name in public, but we can expect him to make ad hominem attacks against it. We can expect to hear him say something like this: “There’s a heresy hunter movie out there that doesn’t think the Holy Spirit is active in the world anymore… but we know different, don’t we?!”

The Holy Spirit is truly active active in the world today, but He’s not doing street magic and performing psychosomatic healings.

Bill Johnson, Todd White and many others like them have said over and over again that a life full of miracles is “normal Christianity.” For an upcoming (yet another) conference called Awakening Australia there is no shortage of Super Apostles who claim to heal people on a daily basis:

Yet the Facebook page for this conference has asked for volunteers to come and do signing for those in attendance who cannot hear. Why is this needed? Shouldn’t Todd White use this as an opportunity to demonstrate his great healing ability?

Perhaps they only need hand signers for the first few minutes of the conference, so that they can announce that all of the hearing loss is about to be healed? And then after all hearing loss is healed, maybe the signers will get autographs from Todd White and Bill Johnson, and maybe even a nice tote bag for their efforts? We can hope.

Here is a quick video of Todd White telling two completely different versions of the same story. In the first segment he talks about the time he had to have knee surgery because he was NOT miraculously healed. In the second segment (from a video on his Facebook page last week) he tells the story with a 100% different ending! He claims his knee was miraculously healed on the day he was supposed to have it surgically repaired. 

Attention Todd White: Why don't you release the name of the "Jewish doctor" who observed your miraculous healing so he can verify this story? 

Todd White is a highly paid public speaker, and miraculous stories make more money. In 2015 Todd White made over $600,000! In order to grow his audience, Todd White needs to continually pump himself up as a great man of God; he's a master at the "humble brag."

Kat Kerr would like you to believe she can move hurricanes, but really all she can move are her own delusional prophetic goal posts. 

In a previous video she tried to convince us she could make the hurricane go off into the ocean. Then she must have observed Irma's change in direction on her smartphone weather app. Instead of going off into the Atlantic, Irma took a turn west.

To save face Kerr uploaded a new video. 

Now she says western Florida is in a drought and needs rain. She's now giving the hurricane permission to bring needed rain to western Florida, but she's not going to allow the hurricane to cause damage.

The idea that Christians can command the weather is nonsense. Yes Jesus did command a storm in Mark 4:39. Yes Jesus did say we'd do works like he did and greater in John 14:12. This does not mean we are given authority over the weather.

Jesus commanded the weather to show us that He is God, not to be an example of something we can do. This idea that we can command weather is not something the apostles taught or practiced. The apostles didn't command good weather in Acts 17 to stop a famine. Paul didn't command the weather to stop a storm in Acts 27.

Surely they would have commanded the famine to stop or the storm to cease if Jesus taught this nonsense. I doubt our modern day "apostles" have a corner on truth that inspired authors of scripture didn't have.

Paula White's Cognitive Dissonance on Human Suffering Needs a Breakthrough

Paula White-Cain, the senior "pastor" of New Destiny Christian Center needs a major breakthrough when it comes to her cognitive dissonance on human suffering. Two recent Facebook posts leave us wondering if she ever did a connect the dots exercise in elementary school.

Below she seems to show empathy and understanding for a woman suffering from an extreme issue of facial bumps.

But then she tells people to simply declare their breakthrough.

This really highlights the lack of depth in the prosperity "gospel" movement. They don't have answers for human suffering. Their understanding of human suffering is about half the breadth of a frog hair, and their ability to provide comfort and a complete perspective on human suffering leaves the hurting hanging in the breeze speaking forth powerless declarations.

The suffering need more than snake oil to sooth pain created by the serpent. They need a comprehensive biblical theology that lets them know the Savior who crushed the serpent's head is always near despite this present suffering they experience.

The Bug Spray Prophet Heals With Doom Insecticide

South African “prophet” Lethebo Rabalago of Mount Zion General Assembly sprays Doom insecticide on people coming to him for healing reports The BBC.

These people appear to have received the blessing.

Doom markets itself as fast and deadly.

Some of his followers on social media appear to support this publicity.

Some things are so over the top on the absurd scale that no further explanation is needed. This is one of those things.

I Refuse to Believe Bob Jones-I'm Staying Home

Bob Jones is considered to have been a very great prophet by everyone in the Signs and Wonders/Charismatic/IHOP/New Apostolic Reformation crowd. According to the NAR leaders, whatever he has predicted will come true! It has to come true. He's pretty much uncontested as an amazing prophet and man of God. But in this video he is talking about the "great revival" that was (at the time) going on in Lakeland, Florida, with Todd Bentley. This is before the Charismatic Day of Infamy took place. Bob Jones was TOTALLY wrong about the buffoon and scoundrel, Todd Bentley-just like every other leader who was on GodTV praising Bentley as a great healer and revivalist for a brief time in 2008. 

Bob Jones was supposed to have been the BEST prophet on planet earth-seriously, he's like a modern day Father Abraham to these people. But everything he says in this video is twisted and wrong. Being interviewed by Rick Joyner, he says that God and the angels have their hands cuffed, and it's up to us to speak things into existence because God gave us all power to unloosen them so they can go and create. This is blasphemy 101! God told him to lay hands on the pine tree that was growing out of John G. Lake's grave. And when he did this his arm caught on fire. Nice. He says that the 1950's revealed the power of God as he lists his favorite (false) teachers of that decade-starting with William Branham. (By the way, doesn't Jesus reveal the power of God? Jones doesn't mention Jesus too much...) He also claims Oral Roberts was another great man of God from the 1950's-this is the guy who invented the "seed-faith" trick that has enriched prosperity preachers all over the world, and has ruined the faith and finances of untold millions of people ever since. He says that the 1970's was the time when we finally learned the truth of the Bible. And he says that the 2000's will be a time of supernatural signs and wonders that will reveal the glory of God... how'd that work out??

Here's the really crazy thing about Bob Jones the "prophet" who seems more like a wacky uncle sipping Jack Daniels from a bottle tucked in his coat pocket than a great and important Man of God:

All of the people who are trying so hard to stir up a revival, are absolutely certain that a billion-soul revival is just around the corner. Why are they so sure of a "billion soul revival" (often called the Third Wave)? Because Bob Jones said it was going to happen. Never mind that the Bible warns us to beware of false teachers who produce great signs and wonders, and to expect a great falling away; we're supposed to skip the Bible and just listen to Bob Jones now. 

Bob Jones wasn't a good enough prophet to figure out that Todd Bentley was a third-rate hustler and fraud, but we all need to abandon everything and go to yet another "Revival of Desperation That Will Really Change The World This Time" because Bob Jones said so. Jones couldn't figure out that William Branham was a cult leader and false prophet, but we're just supposed to trust his billion-soul "prophecy" now. We're being told we have to go so we can make God finally do the thing that He's been wanting to do for decades now, if we're hungry enough... and sold-out enough... and if we sing songs along with the celebrity worship teams until we wear out our vocal chords as proof of our desperation, sincerity and conformity to Evangelical norms enough, as we hold our hands up high and close our eyes just like EVERY. SINGLE. PROMOTIONAL. PHOTOGRAPH tells us to.

I'm staying home.

I not only refuse to believe these false prophets, heretics and professional revivalists, I refuse to feel guilty for not charging up my credit card to take another trip to the "Best Conference Ever"  because they told me I have to go and prove my love for Jesus by showing up.

I will stay home and happily be a part of God's Church. I will partake of the Sacraments. I will study God's Word. I will gladly share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with as many people as I can. I will be faithful with what God has actually called me to do. 

I don't care if ninety million people march together with their arms linked to "Together 2016."

I don't care how many people buy into Lou Engle's  "Azusa Now: The Call" (Note the girl correctly holding up her hands and closing her eyes, just like she's supposed to)

 I don't care how many Christian super-star celebrities promise to show up and give speeches and sing songs... and sell stuff... lots of stuff.

I refuse to be manipulated by people like Lou Engle who, like Bob Jones, claims to speak directly for God. I refuse to be manipulated by expensive promotional videos that make great claims to speak on behalf of God, but can't deliver what they promise. God is not speaking through people who habitually violate His Word, and we are under no obligation to listen to them.

There. Don't you feel better now?

Is it really "a John 5:4 season in the body of Christ" as she says?

Well, John 5:4 is the just about the WORST verse in the whole New Testament to be "proclaimed" or "declared" or "decreed."  Some translations of the Bible (The NIV and ESV, for example) don't even have this verse-they just go from John 5:3 right to John 5:5! Why? Because this is the story of the angel stirring up the pool water that would cause people to get healed, and many experts believe this was inserted into the Bible later. Many reliable and early manuscripts don't contain this story. The real purpose of this passage is to show that Jesus is God (not that Jesus is your personal genie-in-a-bottle). He's the God who can (really) heal people, and we are not to trust in a pool that's been stirred up by an angel-or any other superstition. 

Jennifer LeClaire saying: "it's a John 5:4 season in the body of Christ!" is kinda like saying: "it's a stirred up pool season in the body of Christ!" 

By the way, less than a day earlier she declared it was witchcraft season:

How many people who "declare" that "they have their healing" by the "power of their confession" will remain sick and even die? How many will have been distracted from the true power of the Gospel? How many will have fervently tried to "step into the healing flow" without receiving anything? When LeClaire says that you can step into the healing flow and receive God's will for your life, she's saying that it IS God's will for you to be healed. Anyone who doesn't get healed is, in this very faulty way of thinking,  outside of God's will. It's your fault-you didn't declare it enough. You didn't believe it enough. You didn't order the DVDs and books enough. You didn't go to the conferences enough. You didn't do something... enough. 

The true power of the Gospel is to forgive sins and defeat death! That's greater than any temporary healing.

Here's something we can say with complete confidence:

“After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”

Holy Spirit or Strange Fire?

The people who put this video together did such a fine job of capturing example after example of absurd and patently false manifestations of Holy Spirit that were touted as legit that it deserves an exhibit here in the Museum of Idolatry. As you watch this video ask yourself, "Why on earth would anybody who calls themselves a Christian believe that these are manifestations of the Holy Spirit?"

Ned Flanders even makes an appearance at the 4:07 mark in this video.

Bill Johnson: "I've Never Seen Anything That Violent Before!"

Was Bill talking about a terrorist attack? A criminal assault caught on camera? An illegal dog fight?...

Nope. He's talking about his wife, Beni, and the violent convulsions she was thrown into at the Toronto Airport Revival.

Beni says, "For 20 to 25 minutes I shook violently, and my husband couldn't hold onto me-he had to let me go; and he says 'I have never seen anything that violent before' and he still hasn't seen anything that violent."

If that isn't weird and creepy enough, she then utters this amazing (and contradictory) sentence:

"I had absolutely no control over my body at all, but I knew it was God; I didn't know what it was." 

“I used to convict people of sin and lead them to repentance so they could have their sins forgiven, and I used to direct people’s attention towards Jesus… But now I just shake them around violently. That’s so much better!”

Bethel Church Tells Witch that She's "On the Right Path" and "God is So Proud of Her!"

This is an article from a former Christian who is now a witch; her blog is called: "Born Again Witch." She and her fellow witch-friends (called a "coven") visited Bill Johnson's famous Bethel Church, in Redding California, and they also visited Bethel's "School of Supernatural Ministry" where people are supposed to receive healing. Although she ended up being disappointed with the healing experience, she is very happy about the "prophetic word" she received from a Bethel "prophet" who "spoke a word" over her, and this "word" totally confirmed her involvement in witchcraft-just like all the other "prophetic words" she had received at Bethel on another occasion, which she writes about here:

Here's how she sums up her experience at Bethel, after she pondered all the positive prophetic words she received there: 

“To me, receiving a prophecy from a Christian source was a powerful piece of magic that worked towards healing and integration. I felt like Jesus Himself and God Herself opened their arms to me and said ‘Child, surrender! Welcome home.’ ”

These are not the ravings of some crazy person; in fact, Annika writes very thoughtful, articulate and transparent articles. What is truly amazing is that no one at Bethel lovingly confronted her about her beliefs-instead she was given 100% encouragement-supernatural encouragement- from Bethel's "prophets" to continue in her beliefs. 

So here's a question that Bill Johnson, Kris Vallotton and all the other false teachers at Bethel "Church" won't answer:

What spirit would encourage a former Christian to continue practicing witchcraft? Definitely not The Holy Spirit!

Closing thoughts: some readers will object and say "those prophets don't represent Bethel-they were just mistaken in these rare cases; no one is perfect. How dare you criticize!"

So let's get this straight, Bethel is a super-Holy church where God is constantly doing amazing miracles-it's experiencing unprecedented revival all the time; and Bill Johnson is a super-anointed pastor who hears directly from God all the time; and Bethel's School of Supernatural Ministry is doing amazing work in training people how to "operate in the Spirit" so they can do supernatural things all the time... but the very people who received training at this super-anointed place got their prophecies utterly wrong and accidentally encouraged a woman to continue in her witchcraft-on multiple occasions? And even though Bill Johnson brags about walking into a room and "changing the atmosphere" just by his presence, his own church (full of specially trained "seers" and "prophets") can't figure out that an ex-Christian (who has become a witch and has brought her coven with her), is in their midst? And this is the place that's filled with the Holy Spirit??

Here's some more over-the-top, supernatural, "Signs and Wonders" videos; notice the similarities between them. This is the "Theology of Glory" taken to an extreme. While it's true we should represent Jesus in our behavior as best as we can, we are not supposed to be Jesus (duh!), or fool ourselves into thinking that the whole unsaved world is just waiting for us to show up and "manifest the glory of God."

Jesus did not come to die on the cross for our sins, apparently-He came to "activate us into the supernatural realm of signs and wonders" or something like that. One thing for sure: He would have needed a huge ego and a huge video budget to compete with this guy-Guillermo Maldonado. These larger-than-life, hyped-up promotional videos are becoming commonplace, and they succinctly present another Gospel altogether. "Get ready to receive your miracle today, and allow God to use you to demonstrate His power here and now! This is a reality you can experience in your life today. Join us as we see more of the supernatural now!" Yikes...

Wrestling Match, Drag Race or Youth Conference?

This is so exaggerated and over-the-top, it's beyond embarrassing-it's a parody of itself. "Extreme worship, drama, an in-your-face word, and of course, the raw presence of God!!" 

Because regular worship is not... extreme enough. And unless a word is in-your-face it's no good. And the normal presence of God is okay, but the raw presence of God is even better (actually, just the "normal" presence of God would kill you). The young people subjected to this kind of delusional Christianity are to be greatly pitied. Most sadly of all, this extremely hyper, overly-emotional approach burns people out-just as it did in the days of Charles Finney...
