What Is This?? Insane Christmas Productions at Church

Here’s a new video that looks at the insane, gigantic, and sometimes un-Christian Christmas productions being done by megachurches:
Imagine showing up for the worship experience at your local seeker-driven mega church and finding that they’ve installed a roller coaster on the stage and then during the “praise and worship” set the praise band led everyone in the Ohio Players’ hit song which was covered by the Red Hot Chili Peppers “Roller Coaster of Love”. Well there is no need to imagine that because that is exactly what Faith Church in St. Louis did this past Sunday. Video highlights are below.
For $40 you can push a button to hear Joel Osteen tell you stuff.
Seriously.
Here’s the “Inspiration Cube:”
Here’s a recent Fighting for the Faith video that demonstrates the terrible false teaching of Joel Osteen:
Behold, the worst attempt at curbing pornography in the history of emotionally manipulative, yet theologically vapid speech-making:
James Prasch, the man who lied about having Jewish ancestry and got caught. The man who also tried to swindle the Republic of South Africa out of $1.5 million dollars via a cybersquatting scheme and got caught and the man who lied about the New Testament saying that Jesus is the Metatron and got caught. Yeah, that guy. He’s decided that he’s now going to go on the attack and what he said was soooooo predictable that he makes me look like I’m a modern day prophet despite the fact I’m a cessationist.
This attack of his, as I predicted, claims I am a Roman Catholic (when I’m not). Here’s the video I put together last week which predicted this exact thing.
Prasch’s screed which I am reproducing below weighs in at 1,735 words and is a masterpiece of ad hominem, slander and half-truths combined with a litany of strawman arguments. The reason I’m reproducing it here is because it is the perfect example of how Prasch and his cult operates. They never address the substance of the valid critiques leveled against them, because they can’t, so the only recourse they have is to repent or go on the attack. They never repent so instead they go on the attack and launch witchhunt after witchhunt against anyone who would dare point out their serious errors and disqualifying sins.
I would remind Prasch that by going ad hominem he’s lost the argument. Here’s strong bird to explain why.
Here’s a quick note on the context of this screed reproduced below: If you’d like to understand who Bill Randles is and how he ended up taking center stage in this agonizingly disgraceful and unChristian performance by Prasch then please visit this blog post by TBCKawaii. He explains everything.
Now on to Prasch’s meltdown:
What do the teachings that Madonna believes have in common with the Jesus that “Jacob” Prasch(1) believes in?
Truth be told, they should have nothing in common.
Madonna is a Kabbalist. She is a follower of the mystic sect of Judaism whose esoteric teachings attempt to explain the relationship between the unchanging, eternal God–the mysterious Ein Sof ( אֵין סוֹף, "The Infinite")– and the mortal, finite universe. Kabbalists claim that Jesus was a mystic rabbi and that he stole key concepts from the Kabballah. In the video below at the 5:14 Madonna explains some of the details of her beliefs as a Kabbalist.
Here is where things are going to get REALLY weird.
In the Kabballah there is an angel called the Metatrone מֶטָטְרוֹן which according Kabbalists is the name given to Enoch “after his transformation into an angel.”(2)
It is VERY important to note here that NOWHERE in the Bible is the name Metatrone used at all and it must be emphatically stated that Metatrone is also NEVER used as a name for God nor is it ever used as a name or title for the Angel of the Lord. If you would like to know more about how mystics view Metatrone and what they believe about Metatrone then the video below will help serve as a primer on the mystical mythology surrounding Metatrone.
So, what does all this idolatrous nonsense about Metatrone and the Kaballah have to do with “Jacob” Prasch?
Well, according to “Jacob” Prasch the Metatrone of the Kabbalah is Jesus!
In the September 2009 edition of Moriel Quarterly on page 10 in what could only be described as the most blasphemous article ever written on Christology, “Jacob” Prasch through pure sophistry and a series of bizarre mental gymnastic gyrations and out of context Bible verses mixed with quotes from the Talmuds and Midrash claims that Jesus is the Metatrone of the Kabbalah. Prasch’s article ends with these outrageous and utterly blasphemous conclusions:
Jacob wrestled with the Metatrone, God in a human form.
Joshua fell down before Him upon entering the Promised Land - the Metatrone.
The Metatrone is the middle pillar of the Godhead.
The Metatrone is Jehovah.
The Metatrone is in the Shekinah; the Shekinah is in the Metatrone.
Jehovah God, Metatrone, Shekinah, three-in-one, one-in-three. •
The Metatrone is the Redeemer; the Metatrone is the only way to God.
The Metatrone is the only one in whose name He will answer our prayers.
The Metatrone is the only one to whom God has committed the future of Israel into His hands.
The Metatrone is the only agent of God’s salvation.
The Metatrone is the only one who has the right to give the way to the tree of life.
The Metatrone is the only one in whom, if you take refuge, you will be saved.
Who is the Metatrone? Yeshua HaMashiach, “Jesus the Messiah”. ..the Metatrone is the Messiah; the Metatrone is God who became a man; the Metatrone is the only one who can give you salvation; the Metatrone is the only one who can bring you to the Jerusalem above…the Metatrone is the only one, the only way, the only future you have. Embrace the Son, blessed are all those who take refuge in the Metatrone. Yeshua HaMaschiach, Jesus, the Jewish Messiah. (emphasis added)
This false teaching by Prasch regarding Jesus being the Metatrone of the Kabbalah is not limited to this article. This false Christology is also taught in Prasch’s 2014 book Harpazo.
We cannot say this strongly enough that to appropriate the Metatrone of the Kabballah and claim that this made up, mythological character is Jesus and that it is the ‘agent of God’s salvation’ and the ‘only one in whom to take refuge’ for salvation is even more blasphemous than Rick Warren’s claim that Isa of the Koran is Jesus!
Thre is no other way to say it than to say that the “Jesus” that “Jacob” Prasch believes in is the Metatrone of the Kaballah rather than the Jesus of the Old and New Testaments. Prasch’s “Jesus” is a false Jesus.
Even Madonna would agree.

(1) Jacob is not his real name. His real name is James. One has to wonder if the reason why he took the name Jacob for himself was part of his scheme to make himself appear Jewish. But it turns out that contrary to his claims to be being half Jewish, James Prasch does not have Jewish ancestry and he’s admitted as such.
Andy Stanley's Easter 2020 message said we don't know about the resurrection because of the Bible. What if he is creating unnecessary and unhelpful distinctions that weaken the foundation of our faith instead of strengthening it?
Andy Stanley may have good intentions. It’s great if he’s trying to get people to believe in the resurrection. Unfortunately his attempts may be creating unnecessary distinctions that weaken the foundation of our faith.
He says we don’t believe in the resurrection because of the bible. He is really splitting hairs on this in one aspect, and is totally undercutting scripture that points to Jesus. He can make his point without appearing to say scripture isn’t foundational.
The idol here is the attempt to be clever and relevant though unnecessary hairsplitting and creation of distinctions.
The Coronavirus Global Pandemic has given us a terrible yet unique opportunity to witness how utterly false and powerless today’s top Charismatic leaders and “faith healers” truly are. Below you will find documentation of these different leaders decreeing and declaring an end the the Coronavirus or giving prophecies regarding the end of the pandemic. We also provide the day that leader made their declaration or “prophecy” and how many days have transpired since. We think the data speaks for itself and objectively proves what we’ve been saying about these charlatans all along, they are false prophets and wolves.
On February 24th, 2020 he cursed the Coronavirus and took credit for saving Florida from the Zika virus using the same method.
On February 28th, 2020 he prophesied that the “tide was turning” re: the coronavirus and it would NOT become the “pandemic” that people are afraid of.”
For more details please click here to watch our Fighting for the Faith YouTube video about this false prophecy.
On March 4, 2020 she took “throne room authority” over the Coronavirus and declared it to be illegal.
On March 20th, 2020 he decreed that he’d broken the power of the Coronavirus.
On March 20th, 2020 he decreed that no Christian would get the Coronavirus and that any Christian who had already tested positive that they’d be healed.
On March 21st, 2020 she took authority over the Coronavirus and commanded it to go.
On March 29, 2020 he cursed the Coronavirus and declared it to be over.
This is not satire. (We wish that it was…)
In a recent article, where he called for a 3-day fast to end the coronavirus, Lou had a verital festival of irony, as he failed to see how unbiblical, contradictory, and presumptuous he was.
Lou is not backing down on his assertion that the Holy Spirit has “marked 2020 as a year of stadium Christianity and explosive advance of the kingdom.”
The gigantic Send event in Argentina scheduled for April 25 must be canceled because all public events have been banned.
Lou Engle should probably say something like this: “Oops. I was totally wrong about the plans of God…”
Instead of admitting he was totally wrong, he (you guessed it!) blames the whole global pandemic on Satan, because the Send was about to bring about “The Greatest Revival the World Has Ever Seen.” So now everyone needs to pray even harder than they already were. And don’t eat, either.
If you don’t believe The Send was about to conjure up the greatest revival in world history, just watch some of their emotionally manipulative videos and marketing material and you’ll change your mind.
Lou says: “It is our conviction that the storm of this pandemic has been stirred up by a high-level demonic principality…” Some might have guessed that this pandemic was stirred up by a low or mid-level demonic principality, but Lou has added clarity to this issue.
Lou was pretty sure he should call for a fast and then “a great evangelist from Europe, Jean-Luc Trachsel, texted me and said, "Lou, don't miss this moment. Call a fast across the world and shatter this coronavirus!" I felt it was the word of the Lord.”
So the coronavirus is shattered, according to Lou Engle and Jean-Luc Trachsel.
“Together, in the victory Christ has already won on the Cross, we will speak to this coronavirus, saying, “Be thou removed!” As we do, let’s believe together that this pandemic will abate, stadiums will be filled, elections shifted, and 2020 will go down in history – not as the year where the nations collapsed – but as the year of historic advance of evangelism and missions worldwide!”
— Lou Engle on March 18, 2020
“Thou shall prepare a stadium before Me, and I shall deliver unto you the great revival that you’ve been talking about for, lo, many decades.”
— Not In The Bible
“Every single day I see miraculous healings. It’s normal Christianity. I could have ended this world-wide pandemic, but I’ve been in my secret place.”
— Todd White (not)
This article is being written on March 26, 2020, and the 3-day fast did not stop the worldwide virus pandemic, but Lou Engle will continue to revered as a top leader of the New Apostolic Reformation.
“I wholeheartedly revere the voice of Lou Engle and his ministry.”

In an unprecedented move of supernatural power and public relations, these three Apostles of Faith are dropping all of their lucrative speaking engagements in order to end the Coronavirus.
Bill Johnson, senior pastor at Bethel, Redding, took a few minutes to hold a press conference at the airport before rushing off to the catch his flight. “We know that there is no coronavirus in heaven, and we’re supposed to bring heaven to earth, so this is my chance to prove the validity of my beliefs by actually doing something supernatural-just like Jesus,” said Johnson. He continued in a tone of both pious reflection and pseudo profundity, “I know that I spend a lot of time on stages all over the world telling people how we’re all supposed to do greater works than Jesus, even though I have done nothing even approaching the miraculous works of our Lord, so this is my chance to either put up or shut up.” Reporters were not certain whether Johnson was holding back tears, or if he had accidentally swallowed his breath mint as he left the press conference and handed the keys of his Aston Martin to an assistant had had been struggling with “Papa Bill’s” overflowing cart of Louis Vuitton luggage.
Benny Hinn, not wanting to let his declining age or dwindling crowds diminish his reputation as the World’s Greatest Healer, wasted no time catching a first class flight out of Los Angeles on his way to China. Although Pastor Benny did not make the details of his trip public, insiders in his organization, who wish to remain anonymous, reported that he demanded that no layovers in India take place, as he is known to hate the smell of that country.
The newcomer to this trio of Apostles is Todd White, who not only made a public announcement of his plans to end the coronavirus, he also broke into a beatboxing song about how healing the people of China is “normal Christianity.” Mr. White quickly ended his song when he noticed that most of the people in the room had left.
Here’s a photograph of Todd White, outside of the airport in Beijing, checking the first person he met for the coronavirus:
As soon as the coronavirus has been eliminated by these faith healers we will update this article.
On a related note, Kat Kerr was not able to raise the funds to buy a plane ticket to China, but she promises to do her part to end the coronavirus in much the same way as she has moved hurricanes.
Here are two examples of Jenny Hodge of ChristAlignment discussing Destiny Card Readings.
After watching both of these videos, please answer the following multiple choice question on either our Twitter or FaceBook feeds.
Here’s the question: Jen Hodge and ChristAlignment are…
1) Operating in a valid expression and use of gift of the Holy Spirit known as The Word of Knowledge.
2) Engaging in the practice of Fortune Telling, which is forbidden by scripture.
3) Victims of cessationist hyper-critics.
Here’s a quick little video that shows how Randy Clark likes shocking people with his (very painful) anointing more than he likes the Bible:

As tragic as the Wake Up Olive fiasco was at Bethel, Redding in December 2019 (See our video Wake Up Bethel), turns out that the Brownsville Revival had a similarly tragic moment.
Have you heard about the father who took the corpse of his dead 6-week old infant daughter, packed her remains in a cooler and drove them from Gainesville to Pensacola so that she could be resurrected?
The story was covered by the Pensacola Journal on September 20, 1998.
Todd White has recently appeared in a video where he tells the story of how he healed a pastor in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, of a leg that was three and a half inches too short. We want to hear from that man!
This man was the head pastor of a church in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, that taught against healing until Todd proved him wrong. Todd says that this man’s leg grew out immediately, and the pastor was forced to denounce his former disbelief in healing.
This man must have been changed forever by this miraculous healing and we’re sure he would want to tell the whole world about what the Lord has done. We would love to see before and after photos and, of course, we’d really love to see the medical reports of this incredible miracle!
To help locate this man, here are the specifics of his story as told by Todd White:
This man told Todd White that he was “born with polio” but you CANNOT be “born with polio!” This medical impossibility alone should make him very easy to find, and on top of that, the Centers for Disease Control states that polio has been ELIMINATED in the United States!
Polio is spread through feces, so a mother cannot pass it down to her infant through conception. This pastor is probably listed as a bizarre anomaly by polio experts in the medical field-he’s probably easy to find in a database for polio research!
His leg was (very specifically) three and a half inches too short. Apparently, Todd White had a measuring device with him and decided to do a short leg documentation (“SLD”). This will make it very easy to find this man! Even if Todd White has helped lots of people grow out their legs in Harrisburg, PA, (while he was working for an ice delivery company), this is probably the only one who had a three and a half inch discrepancy. Good thing that Todd did a SLD!
The effects from polio do not always include having one leg too short, although the physical deformities resulting from polio could include such a condition. So not only was he born with polio (which is impossible), but he also had a shortened leg as a result. (Isn’t it funny how just about every illness that Todd White claims to heal involves a short leg? If only the medical field would catch on to this short leg epidemic!)
This man was the head pastor of a church in Harrisburg, PA, that (very specifically) taught that God never heals anyone. Ever. His church was “part of a denomination that didn’t believe in healing” and he “preached against it his whole life.” This particular denomination holds to a very strange and rare theological distinction, which should make it very easy to find. Although Todd White claims that he meets lots of pastors who “preach against healing” he probably misspoke, since pretty much all Bible-believing churches believe that God can, if He chooses, heal people today. Todd is probably a little confused, since he believes the Word of Faith teaching that says God always heal today, (if we give Him the right commands and exercise enough faith). Unfortunately, Todd White has had no theological training but has just read some books by Word of Faith expert, Kenneth Copeland (his mentor), so he doesn’t understand that God is sovereign and cannot be controlled by us.
This miraculous three and a half inch leg growth had to have taken place between 2004 (when Todd claims he was radically saved) and about 2007/10, because this was before he went into full-time ministry with Dan Mohler, which seems to be somewhere around 2007 or a little later. Todd says he was working a job delivering ice when he met the pastor and healed his short leg. So, just to put a time frame on this, the pastor had his three and a half inch leg miracle sometime between 2004 and about 2010 or so. This is just a 6 year window, making it pretty easy to nail down the specifics of this story!
In Todd’s retelling of the story, this pastor saw Todd in his dreadlock hairstyle and seemed to dislike it. This is a very peculiar detail since Todd looked like this in 2007/2008, according to Dan Mohler’s old website, which is shown here from web archives:

This is real…
This is the Word of Faith Movement & New Apostolic Reformation & The Encounter Gospel coming to full fruition.
Yes, this bad doctrine is horrible.
Yes, these young people are being lied to in the name of God.
Yes, this destructive teaching will ruin many lives.
But there is something even worse than all of that…
This “pastor’s” wardrobe.

Notice that this man actually trims and manicures his own eyebrows…

If you buy a jet for millions and millions of dollars you can save a lot of money… This is NOT satire, this is something that Dr. Michael Brown actually seems to believe.
A question for honest discussion: If it's OK (and even wise) for a Christian leader to fly commercial rather than take a bus (which should save a lot of money), why is it wrong for him to fly a private plane rather than to fly commercial (which would also save a lot of money)?
— Dr. Michael L. Brown (@DrMichaelLBrown) June 5, 2019
After a two-minute Google search we learned that bus fare is cheaper than air fare. Wow! The things you can learn by doing a tiny amount of research! I guess if you want to learn something you shouldn’t Ask Dr. Brown…
So, using the lowest annual cost of $700,000 and dividing it by 12 months the cost to operate a jet is at least $58,333.33 per month. That comes to $1,944.44 per DAY. A more expensive jet would cost $5,000 to $10,000 per DAY. If Kenneth Copeland bought a new ticket every single day, he would have to spend at least $1,944.44 on each ticket to equal the cost of running one private jet, and that doesn’t even figure in the cost of actually purchasing the jet.
Kenneth Copeland owns 3 jets.
Dr. Michael Brown is not good at mathematics. Do not Ask Dr. Brown about these things.
Postscript: A number of people have suggested that the correct meaning of Dr. Brown’s tweet is more like this: airfare is more expensive than bus fare and yet it’s still okay for a minister to take a commercial flight, so why isn’t taking a privately-owned jet also okay?
Hmmm. That could be what Dr. Brown meant.
If that’s the way Dr. Brown intended it to be read, I apologize for mischaracterizing his tweet in that regard.
However, Dr. Brown’s conclusion is still a terrible one. Spending millions and millions of dollars on private planes to fly around in luxury for personal pleasure is what Kenneth Copeland is doing. Everybody can see what kind of manipulative and greedy man he is, and only the truly deluded believe he’s got three private jets to “spread the Gospel.”
Furthermore, Dr. Brown makes a huge mistake by teaching that an executive of a large corporation is in the same category as a minister of the Lord Jesus Christ. If a business executive can purchase and use a private jet it’s because he’s got money available from his own company for that purpose! Kenneth Copeland takes money from donations and treats himself to earthly pleasure at the expense of foolish people who send him money, often because they’ve been taught that giving to Copeland will cause God to shower them with money as well. This is really sick and twisted and Dr. Brown doesn’t seem to care.
Here is a critique of Dr. Michael Brown’s latest attempt to justify the “frugality” of owning a private jet:
Here are Kenneth Copeland and his mentor, Oral Roberts, making it 100% clear that they LOVE MONEY. Oral laughingly says (at :57 seconds in) “Silver and gold have we plenty” as Kenneth Copeland yells out “hallelujah!” This is a demonic reversal of the words in Acts 3:6, where the Apostle Peter said “silver and gold have I none.” Dr. Michael Brown will never watch this video. He will never watch any video, ever. Go ahead and try to send it to him. Dr. Brown, I KNOW that you will see this article. You are covering up the greedy, sinful, and blasphemous Kenneth Copeland. Shame on you.
Kenneth Copeland loves his airplane collection because he loves worldly wealth and possessions.
Matthew 6:19-21 "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
Matthew 13: 22 "The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful."
Mark 8:34-37 "Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it. What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?"
Luke 12:32-34 “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
Luke 16:13-14 “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, were listening to all these things, and they were scoffing at Him.”
2 Corinthians 2:17 “Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God.”
1 Timothy 6:5, 9-11 “...and constant friction between people of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain. (9) But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. (10) For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs. But as for you, O man of God, flee these things.”
1 Corinthians 5:11-13 "But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of a brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler-not even to eat with such a one. For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? God judges those on the outside. Remove the evil person from among you."
Titus 1:7-11 “For the overseer must be above reproach as God's steward, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not addicted to wine, not pugnacious, not fond of sordid gain, but hospitable, loving what is good, sensible, just, devout, self-controlled, holding fast the faithful word which is in accordance with the teaching, so that he will be able both to exhort in sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict. For there are many rebellious men, empty talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, who must be silenced because they are upsetting whole families, teaching things they should not teach for the sake of sordid gain.”
James 1:9-10 "But let the brother of humble circumstances glory in his high position; and let the rich man glory in his humiliation, because like flowering grass he will pass away."
James 5:1-3 "Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries which are coming upon you. Your riches have rotted and your garments have become moth-eaten. Your gold and your silver have rusted; and their rust will be a witness against you and will consume your flesh like fire. It is in the last days that you have stored up your treasure!"
2 Peter 2:1-3 “But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned; and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.”
Acts 3:5-7 “And he began to give them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. But Peter said, ‘I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—walk!’ And seizing him by the right hand, he raised him up; and immediately his feet and his ankles were strengthened.”
Hebrews 11:13-16 "These all died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. For people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland. If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return. But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city."
Hebrews 11:32-40 "And what more shall I say? For time would fail me to tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets-who through faith conquered kingdoms, enforced justice, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, were made strong out of weakness, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight. Women received back their dead by resurrection. Some were tortured, refusing to accept release, so that they might rise again to a better life. Others suffered mocking and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they were killed with the sword. They went about in skins of sheep and goats, destitute, afflicted, mistreated-of whom the world was not worthy-wandering about in deserts and mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. And all these, though commended through their faith, did not receive what was promised, since God had provided something better for us, that apart from us they should not be made perfect."
Hebrews 13:5 “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’”
1 John 2:15-17 "Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For all that is in the world-the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions-is not from the Father but is from the world. And this world is fading away, along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever."
Revelation 3:16-19 "So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth. Because you say, “I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing,” and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see. Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent."

Clayton Jennings has over 800,000 followers on Facebook. He has over 450,000 subscribers on YouTube.
And he’s been caught doing and saying some really disgusting things.
His response has been to fight back against those exposing his dark deeds and to attack the young women left in his wake. He has a knack for portraying himself as a victim to maintain the support of his (largely female) fan base. This is a man who clearly should be repenting for his sins and stepping down from his favorite place: the spotlight.
This is what happens in the “church” when attractive celebrities are valued above sound teachers.
This is what happens when the “church” only cares about being “relevant” and “transparent.”
This is what happens when the “church” abandons Scriptural authority and ecclesiastical authority, in order to pursue a “spiritual but not religious” path.
This is what happens when the “church” over-reacts against angry fundamentalists who only preach the Law and fail to preach the Gospel.
This is what happens when the “church” sees theology as an enemy of faith, and the manipulation techniques of egomaniacs are allowed to run wild.
