Lou Engle Doubles Down on Dumb Idea: "2020 is The Year of Stadium Christianity!"

Lou Engle is convinced that the Holy Spirit declared 2020 to be the “Year of Stadium Christianity” even as all public events are being canceled around the world.

Lou_Engle_the_Call_Nashville.jpg

In a recent article, where he called for a 3-day fast to end the coronavirus, Lou had a verital festival of irony, as he failed to see how unbiblical, contradictory, and presumptuous he was.

  • Lou is not backing down on his assertion that the Holy Spirit has “marked 2020 as a year of stadium Christianity and explosive advance of the kingdom.”

  • The gigantic Send event in Argentina scheduled for April 25 must be canceled because all public events have been banned.

  • Lou Engle should probably say something like this: “Oops. I was totally wrong about the plans of God…”

  • Instead of admitting he was totally wrong, he (you guessed it!) blames the whole global pandemic on Satan, because the Send was about to bring about “The Greatest Revival the World Has Ever Seen.” So now everyone needs to pray even harder than they already were. And don’t eat, either.

  • If you don’t believe The Send was about to conjure up the greatest revival in world history, just watch some of their emotionally manipulative videos and marketing material and you’ll change your mind.

  • Lou says: “It is our conviction that the storm of this pandemic has been stirred up by a high-level demonic principality…” Some might have guessed that this pandemic was stirred up by a low or mid-level demonic principality, but Lou has added clarity to this issue.

  • Lou was pretty sure he should call for a fast and then “a great evangelist from Europe, Jean-Luc Trachsel, texted me and said, "Lou, don't miss this moment. Call a fast across the world and shatter this coronavirus!" I felt it was the word of the Lord.”

  • So the coronavirus is shattered, according to Lou Engle and Jean-Luc Trachsel.

“Together, in the victory Christ has already won on the Cross, we will speak to this coronavirus, saying, “Be thou removed!” As we do, let’s believe together that this pandemic will abate, stadiums will be filled, elections shifted, and 2020 will go down in history – not as the year where the nations collapsed – but as the year of historic advance of evangelism and missions worldwide!”

— Lou Engle on March 18, 2020

“Thou shall prepare a stadium before Me, and I shall deliver unto you the great revival that you’ve been talking about for, lo, many decades.”

— Not In The Bible

“Every single day I see miraculous healings. It’s normal Christianity. I could have ended this world-wide pandemic, but I’ve been in my secret place.”

The "Young and Rich" Youth Conference at Encounter Christian Church (NOT Satire)

This is real…

This is the Word of Faith Movement & New Apostolic Reformation & The Encounter Gospel coming to full fruition.

Yes, this bad doctrine is horrible.

Yes, these young people are being lied to in the name of God.

Yes, this destructive teaching will ruin many lives.

But there is something even worse than all of that…

Shawn Bolz Does Google Cold Reading at The Send as Holy Spirit Takes a Nap.

In a recent press conference the Holy Spirit spoke about recent events at The Send, in Orlando, FL on Feb. 23, 2019. “After so many hours of hypnotic, mid-tempo, repetitive music I just had to lay down and close my eyes for a few minutes,” said the Holy Spirit in a somewhat apologetic tone. “Well, that few minutes turned into several hours of blissful, uninterrupted sleep. I must’ve really needed the rest after being conjured up repeatedly throughout the day.” A reporter from Charisma Magazine asked Him, “How did Shawn Bolz get such an accurate word of knowledge about Dennis Melnichuk if you weren’t even awake to feed him the information?” The Third Person of the Trinity shifted uncomfortably in His chair for a moment before replying plainly, “Mr. Bolz did what was necessary, under the conditions of the moment: he got a few names off of the The Send registration list and did a quick Google search to retrieve pertinent information for the purpose of building up the saints.” After a few whispered gasps could be heard, an awkward pause filled the pressroom as everyone considered the gravity of the situation.

A young reporter from the Orlando Examiner asked Him, “Sir, please forgive me if my question is out of line, but basically you’re saying that Shawn Bolz lied… and, and, he pretended to get supernatural help from you when it was really information he just found online??” The Sovereign God of the Universe seemed unfazed by the confrontational, yet legitimate, question. He answered without hesitation, “Look, here’s how this works: I’m a busy guy, I’m doing stuff for people all day long, so I’m not gonna sit here and apologize for anything. These people wanted to see a “sign from God” and they got exactly what they wanted. I’m all about results, and Shawn Bolz got results.” As if He was energized by His newly-found transparency He continued, “Do any of you people have any idea what it’s like to be shouted at all day long? Have you ever had a stadium full of people begging and pleading for you to do stuff all day long? In the hot Florida sun?? No, you haven’t. I was exhausted, I took a nap, Bolz did the right thing to appease the sign-seekers, and everyone was happy. Heck, they’re still happy! Even after they learn that the whole thing was fake they refuse to believe it because they like it so much. I call that a success. No more questions.”

The Holy Spirit then got up to leave, taking with Him a large glass of freshly-squeezed Florida orange juice. The roomful of reporters began to lightly applaud as Benny Hinn pulled up in his gold-plated Ferrari to provide taxi service, as the two were reportedly on their way to attend Lou Engle’s “Kundalini Workout Program.” Mr. Hinn could be heard to say “watch out-this thing doesn’t have cup holders!” as the two sped off, making their way through the Orlando traffic.

Francis Chan Promoting Benny Hinn and Rodney Howard-Browne

Here’s a video showing Francis Chan promoting “The Send” where he was a speaker along with many false teachers, such as Todd White, Lou Engle, Bill Johnson and these two complete heretics who finished up the conference:

Benny Hinn and Rodney Howard-Browne:

Here are some more videos on these (really) false teachers:

Francis Chan Invites Christians to Become "Wolf Food" at (Yet Another) Conference

Francis Chan is partnering and endorsing false teachers: Todd White, Heidi Baker, Bill Johnson, Mike Bickle, Lou Engle and others at the upcoming “The Send” conference. The Send is the latest version of The Call, except it has the word “Send” where the word “Call” used to be.

Here’s a video where Lou Engle disturbingly rocks back and forth as he explains the whole “The Call has Become The Send” thing; you’ll also see Daniel Kolenda and his gigantic muscles, as well as Benny Hinn’s son-in-law, Michael Koulianos and some YWAM guy with really cool hair as they all walk along the beach in slow motion (so you know this is of God):

The Send promises to be the most important, life-changing conference the world has ever seen-in fact, it’s more than a conference, it’s a double portion conference where everyone is going to be catalyzed to collaborate, so they can be activated with momentum… or something.

This is the conference where lives will forever be changed by getting thousands of people to hold up their shoes:

If my people, who are called by my name, will hold up their shoes in a large gathering, I shall hear their cry, and I will establish an unending speaker circuit where the young and gullible will hear much talk.
— 2 Expectations 6:1-3

Evangelical Superstar, Francis Chan, has fully embraced the New Apostolic Reformation speaker circuit and has become its newest crossover member. Once considered a mainstream, Bible-focused Evangelical, Chan has made it clear that he stands with Todd White, Heidi Baker, Bill Johnson, Lou Engle, Mike Bickle and the rest of the hyper-charismatic, New Order of the Latter Rain, NAR, Signs & Wonders fringe (except that now these people have become so popular that nobody thinks they’re the fringe anymore).

Francis Chan believes this is the kind of conference Jesus would promote.

Watch this video to see Chan’s pleading invitation, and then see the very disturbing manifestations associated with Heidi Baker, Bill Johnson and Mike Bickle:

Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. “You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will know them by their fruits. Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness.’
— Matthew 7:15-23

Bill Johnson, Todd White and Company Don't Expect to Heal Deaf Ears at Awakening Australia

Bill Johnson, Todd White and many others like them have said over and over again that a life full of miracles is “normal Christianity.” For an upcoming (yet another) conference called Awakening Australia there is no shortage of Super Apostles who claim to heal people on a daily basis:

Yet the Facebook page for this conference has asked for volunteers to come and do signing for those in attendance who cannot hear. Why is this needed? Shouldn’t Todd White use this as an opportunity to demonstrate his great healing ability?

46024597_1973693966261016_1438501550929477632_n.jpg
maxresdefault-1.jpg

Miracle is his normal life:

Bill Johnson says that miracles are normal, too:

Perhaps they only need hand signers for the first few minutes of the conference, so that they can announce that all of the hearing loss is about to be healed? And then after all hearing loss is healed, maybe the signers will get autographs from Todd White and Bill Johnson, and maybe even a nice tote bag for their efforts? We can hope.

By the way, Ben Fitzgerald is the director of Awakening Australia, and his Mom’s group “Christalignment” is listed as a supporting ministry:

"Engagement Conference" Featuring Distorted & Chaotic Apostles and Prophets!

Screen Shot 2018-07-30 at 6.55.53 PM.png

Good news everyone: there are Apostles and Prophet living on the earth again! How can we be sure? Because they've got a website called "Prophets and Apostles.org" so you know it's legit.

This promotional video for (yet another) conference is as distorted, chaotic and confused as the conference will likely be:

Steven Furtick to Join Bill Johnson & Kris Vallotton for Bethel Conference

Steven Furtick, who is somehow still considered part of the Southern Baptist Convention, will be a speaker at (yet another) conference from the heretical, Montanist, NAR mega-church: Bethel Church, Redding. This conference promises to "bring heaven" (if you buy an expensive ticket) just like all of their other conferences:

Tickets cost between $129 to $189... but for an additional $60 surcharge you can sit closer to the NARpostles and have a Q&A session with the very cool (and very famous) Bethel musicians!

This should not seem too shocking since Furtick has already declared his great love and devotion to the Modalist heretic T. D. Jakes. Over the years, Steven Furtick has even adopted the dramatic and emotionally manipulative speaking style of T. D. Jakes. But now we see the attempt to merge two massive audiences: the NAR/Signs and Wonders/Hyper-Charismatic audience of Bill Johnson and his Bethel co-pastor, Kris Vallotton, with the more Word of Faith/Positive Thinking/Seeker-Friendly audience of Steven Furtick.

These men are all highly paid public speakers, and they wish to find as many new customers as possible. We can expect them to have brand new books to sell in time for this conference as well.

Here are some of the other false teachers that Steven Furtick has gladly shared the stage with:

Charisma Conference: Mark Driscoll Joins Katie Souza, Real Talk Kim, and Jonathan Cahn

When you ditch the mega-church you founded just in time to avoid the consequences of your horrid personal behavior, it can be difficult to find new speaking gigs. Heck, it can be hard to simply walk down the street without getting hit with a rotten tomato. But Mark Driscoll has found a new place to call home: the Charisma Conference! He's already published a new book with Charisma Publishing so now it's time for Driscoll to get on stage and sell stuff to a whole new audience, an audience who have already proven themselves gullible enough to buy The Sneaky Squid Spirit, The Four Blood Moons Thingy, The Harbinger/Shemitah/Paradigm Thingy, and about ten thousand other useless doctrines that are contrary to Scripture.

"Come Holy Spirit" Conference: Professional Speakers Need an Audience

Here's yet another conference... the Holy Spirit will "show up" and it'll change the whole world and stuff. If you go to this thing you'll never be same, blah blah blah...

giphy 3.gif

Okay, let's just be honest: These people are professional speakers and if you don't buy tickets to this thing, they won't make any money.

Screen Shot 2018-03-16 at 7.35.00 PM.png
Screen Shot 2018-03-16 at 7.35.06 PM.png

Here's what the title page says for this conference:

Screen Shot 2018-03-16 at 7.49.48 PM.png

So they ripped Acts 1:8 out of context and applied it to this conference! Here's more of the passage:

On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. (8) But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.
— Acts 1: 4-9

In the very next chapter of Acts, the Holy Spirit (really) fell on people:

When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.
— Acts 2: 1-4

So the thing that this passage is pointing to has already happened. Read the rest of this chapter-it's an amazing passage of Scripture! We don't need to keep begging the Holy Spirit to fall (unless you want to sell more tickets to yet another conference).

The Holy Spirit has come.

These professional speakers don't want you to know that. They continually tell you that you don't have enough of the Holy Spirit until you buy tickets and go to their events and buy their books and get lulled into a semi-hypnotic state by the soft-rock worship team and then listen to people talk a lot, tell outlandish & unverifiable stories, and twist God's Word while they brag about how humble they are.

By the way, if you're really interested in getting more you can spend an extra $79 for the Premier Ticket to have one "meet and greet session" with a Super Apostle; maybe you'll get an "anointing" or "mantle" or "impartation" or something.

Screen Shot 2018-03-16 at 7.29.36 PM.png

Most of the 2nd chapter of Acts is the Apostle Peter's terrific sermon, where he tells people the hard truth that they've rejected the Messiah, Jesus, and are guilty of crucifying Him. This is what follows:

Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.” And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation.” So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls.
— Acts 2: 37-41

Indeed, let us all "save ourselves from this crooked generation."

Here's (yet another) conference where you're supposed to go and "encounter God." This one has superstars Rick Pino, Todd White, Misty Edwards, and a few other NAR people as guest speakers and musicians. Rick Pino is putting on this conference, that's why he gets top billing. This "Presence 2018" event is where the Holy Spirit has been scheduled to make an appearance.

Screen Shot 2018-02-26 at 8.41.17 AM.png

(Notice above that these people have trouble spelling the word "Christianity" correctly; imagine how they handle actual Christian doctrine!)

Here's a screenshot of the ticket prices; notice the PREMIUM option:

Screen Shot 2018-02-26 at 8.44.09 AM.png

So, for an extra twenty bucks you can have an exclusive time of imparting with one of the celebrity worship leaders or speakers.

My dear Corinthians, although I would like to see you in person and have an exclusive time of imparting, I must be paid some sort of fee. I am, after all, the Apostle Paul.
— Things Real Apostles Never Say

It looks like Rick Pino is trying to kick-start his HOD School of Ministry. What does HOD stand for? House of David. This appears to be the latest trend in the hyper-Charismatic world: re-establishing the tabernacle of David

If you want to attend Pino's "school" you'll have to shell out $3,600 for a 12 week semester, and half of your academic day will involve "praying" and "worshipping" while hypnotic music lulls you into thinking that you're actually learning something. Here's what the schedule looks like:

Screen Shot 2018-02-26 at 8.58.30 AM.png

On Saturdays you'll have the opportunity to annoy the citizens of Austin, Texas, by continually attempting to make both of their legs the same length. The citizens of Redding, California would appreciate the chance to be left alone, so if you're thinking of attending the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, maybe give this school a try instead.

If you're sceptical that maybe Rick Pino's school isn't legit, don't worry: Kim Walker Smith thinks it's the place for you (she had her photo taken right after she got back from a Halloween party)...

And if you think this is gonna be just another flakey conference don't worry, this conference features some heavyweight theologians like: Patricia King, Che Ahn, Randy Clark, Mark Chironna (who is sporting a new scholarly-looking beard and a cool Bill Johnson-style shirt!) and The Apostle Robert Henderson himself.

Here's the Apostle Robert Henderson talking about how to get rich-oops, I mean unlocking wealth... but I'll save you the 28 minutes of worthless blathering. Wanna get rich? Charge a bunch of people $139 to "unlock the supernatural from the courts of heaven!"

By the way, if this sounds like the prosperity gospel to you, don't worry about it, because Dr. Michael Brown says it's not!

"Holy Sh*t!"-It's Heidi Baker at Brownsville!

Screen Shot 2018-02-17 at 10.00.47 AM.png

Here's a brief (and disturbing) compilation video of Heidi Baker when she was the special guest speaker at the Brownsville Assembly of God for a conference called Awake Deborah in 2003; the original video is two hours long:

Heidi tells somebody in the noisy, confused and writhing crowd "I know it hurts, it's holy though, don't be afraid..." She also asks God to "incapacitate" people.

As Heidi is trying to impart something to Guatemala she is overcome by convulsions and says "holy sh*t, I'll come back..."

Here's that part of the original video:

Dr. Michael Brown is a big defender of Heidi Baker, so you can be assured that she's legitimate!

Francis Chan and Todd White Headline Upcoming IHOP Festival of False Teaching

giphy (35).gif

Francis Chan has been a very respected Evangelical pastor and author for over a decade now, but he has taken a very deliberate turn towards the "Signs and Wonders" New Apostolic Reformation-version of Christianity in recent years. Chan does not teach the extreme Word of Faith doctrine at all, in fact, he's been really clear about wanting to stay away from man-centered false teaching altogether. He is to be commended for much of his Bible-based teaching, but that makes it even harder to understand his willingness to partner with IHOP and Todd White.

Here's a disturbing article that documents his slide towards the doctrinally apostate church: Francis Chan Endorses the Apostate NAR Movement

Francis Chan has been known as someone who has given away most of his income to very charitable causes. He even has a Master of Divinity from the very conservative Master's Seminary where he would have been taught the exact opposite of the New Apostolic Reformation/Word of Faith doctrine that IHOP and Todd White promote. Todd White is happy to make large piles of money and live in a gigantic mansion; how does Chan feel about that? Todd White claims that he can "claim someone who doesn't believe and there's no way they can get out of it." How does Francis Chan feel about Todd White claiming to have the ability to sovereignly elect people?

Francis Chan shows no sign of going to these events as a "missionary" in order to preach a true Gospel message to the people held captive by false teachers like Mike Bickle and Todd White. Instead, he appears to be endorsing a distinctly Charismatic understanding of the Christian faith. And by being a keynote speaker at this gigantic IHOP conference, he seems to be be comfortable with the Dominionist, "Latter Rain/New Apostolic Reformation" type of teaching that IHOP and Todd White are known for.

Watch this emotionally manipulative video about the upcoming "One Thing" conference that IHOP holds every year, and notice the prominent teaching of Dominionism as well:

In the video, Mike Bickle says: "God is raising up a church that is going to be prepared to be the vessels of His glory, to release His glory into the earth this very hour of intense darkness... He says 'the beauty I possess I want to impart to you!'" (Got a Bible verse to back that up, Bickle??)

Todd White says: "Christ coming out of us is His hope revealed!" So, Christ is not revealed in his Word, according to the egomaniac Todd White. This man-centered teaching should come as no surprise, since Todd White is the guy who (literally) claims to "be the Bible." Todd White claims that he is sinless just like Jesus, does Francis Chan agree with this?

Bickle, White, and many other NAR teachers have been pumping people up with this false teaching for decades now. How are they doing at "releasing His glory" and "imparting His beauty" and "becoming the Bible?" This is warmed-over Latter Rain Dominionism that excites people with a false belief in their own greatness (if they just go to enough conferences to learn the secret from the latest guru prancing around on stage).

How long will it be before Francis Chan shares the stage with money-grubbing frauds like Benny Hinn and Kenneth Copeland? Todd White did just that a month ago:

Benny Hinn Laying Hands on Todd White

Benny Hinn Laying Hands on Todd White

How does Francis Chan feel about Todd White calling Prosperity Preacher Kenneth Copeland his mentor and spiritual father? How does Francis Chan feel about Kenneth Copeland (and his amazing eyes)? Here's Todd White praising Kenneth Copeland (and his "amazing eyes"): Todd White Praises Kenneth Copeland, Fangirls Over Copeland’s “Amazing Eyes”

How does Francis Chan feel about Benny Hinn? Todd White radically encountered the Holy Spirit at a Benny Hinn meeting, where he felt electricity "like he was plugged into a light socket," and the ushers on either side of Todd White were thrown "three feet in the air and about ten feet back."

Galatians 1:6-9  “I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; which is really not another; only there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed! As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be accursed!

1 Corinthians 5:11-13  "But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of a brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler-not even to eat with such a one. For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? God judges those on the outside. Remove the evil person from among you."

Galatians 1:10  “Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.”

Titus 2:7-8  “...in all things show yourself to be an example of good deeds, with purity in doctrine, dignified, sound in speech which is beyond reproach, so that the opponent will be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us.”

1 Thessalonians 5:21  “But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good...”

Training Creative Goat Herders - C3 Conference 2017

It's that time of year for C3 (Creative Church Conference), or maybe better described as "Training for Creative Goat Herders". Their promotional videos gives us a sense of the unsavory flavor they're about to release. Note the Word of Faith declaring and decreeing (really just shouting) by Steven Furtick:

Some quotes from the video.

"Church should be the most creative entity in the universe."

"Hearing from God, allowing God to use your uniqueness in your context, to communicate His glorious Gospel."

What does the emphasis on creativity and uniqueness confess?

Relying on "creativity" and "uniqueness" (buzzwords for stagecraft) is an outright confession that the word and sacraments that God gave his church are not enough. No one will come right out and admit the obvious belief system that's being demonstrated here:

"If you want to attract a big crowd, you've gotta put on a big show."

Jesus instructed Peter to feed his sheep in John 21:17. Matthew 25:32-33 tells us Jesus will separate the sheep from the goats.

These Christian leaders are being taught how to entertain goats, not feed the sheep.
